Third in "The Friday Pilots" interviews series - Bill "BossHawg" Pitts. Bill flew Forward Air Controller Missions in an OV-10 over Vietnam. One of the first pilots to transition to an operational A-10 Squadron, he flew the aircraft in the "Gunsmoke" competition and was one of the first A-10 pilots sent in to develop battle plans for Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

ABC News - Bob Woodruff (ABC/ DONNA SVENNEVIK) On January 29th 2006, Bob Woodruff was covering the war in Iraq for ABC World News.  Bob and cameraman Doug Vogt were embedded with the 4th Infantry Division near Taji.  They were standing with their heads above the hatch of an armored personnel carrier when an improvised explosive device was detonated.
