SMMC Carlos Ruiz became the 20th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps on August 10, 2023.  SMMC Ruiz joins us to discuss his career and leadership.

Quang and his family escaped the fall of Saigon and became refugees in the US. He would become the first Vietnamese American to earn Naval Aviator's wings in the Marinc Corps and flew assault support missions during the Gulf War. After a stint in pharmaceutical sales, he won $5 million in funding as the Founder and CEO of MyDrugRep.com. Quang also became the first American of Vietnamese heritage to lead a biotech IPO on NASDAQ.
