The mission performed by this Air Force Pararescue team in Africa in June of 2018 must have been pretty “sporty” to have been recognized as the “Rescue Mission of the Year”by the Jolly Green Association.

When her son Kristoffer was killed in Afghanistan on his 14th deployment, Scoti Domeij became a member of the club that no one wants to join – Gold Star Mothers.  She will be honoring the memory of her son by parachuting into Normandy on the 75th Anniversary of D-Day with several Army Rangers and Green Beret Veterans.
