CIA linguist David Tyson was one of 8 CIA officers dropped into the mountains of Afghanistan shortly after the 9/11 attacks. They would be among the first Americans operating in Taliban territory. David was also caught up in the prison uprising that resulted in America’s first fatality in Afghanistan – CIA Paramilitary officer Mike Spann.
