Charles Ritter is retiring after a 26 year career in the Army. He had 17 deployments (12 combat deployments) and has been awarded the Silver Star, a Bronze Star w/ Valor, an Army Commendation for Valor and three Purple Hearts. He recently underwent his 31st surgery for wounds received in combat.

As a war planner for US Central Command, Col. Roland Tiso experienced the intricacies and challenges of multinational service. His firsthand account of operational planning for the war in Iraq and his interactions with our allied partners provides new light on the idea of coalition warfare.

Jeannie Tucker’s father James Tucker landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day as part of the 299th Combat Engineer Battallion. She is now dedicated to collecting and sharing the stories of this dedicated group of soldiers.
