Jeannie Tucker’s father James Tucker landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day as part of the 299th Combat Engineer Battallion. She is now dedicated to collecting and sharing the stories of this dedicated group of soldiers.
John Daily was selected as a team leader for the first Marine Corps unit assigned to US Special Operations Command. Detachment one would be dubbed “Task Unit Raider” in Iraq.
