Richard Burt was a Juliard trained trumpet player who served in an Army Air Corps band stationed in the Phillipines. The band recorded some tunes but they were lost to history until..his grandson was cleaning out Richard’s belongings following his death. Jason is now working with a Grammy Award musician to bring this interesting element of WWII history back to new life.

Marine Corps Sgt. Beau Wise holds the unenviable title of being the only member of our military from the Afghanistan/Iraq Wars to be brought home under the “sole survivor” policy. Three Wise brothers joined the military shortly after 9/11. Navy SEAL Jeremy Wise and Green Beret Sniper Ben Wise were both killed in battle.
