Following a combat tour in Vietnam, Mike Vining left the Army. He returned and in 1978 joined a newly formed unit called 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment – Delta. (That’s Delta Force for us civilians) He’s seen a lot of things – SOME of which he can now talk about!
